Save Me

I did this back in high school when I was having certain problems. The title means what it sounds like. However, the two hands are mines. Both top and bottom, the hands are mines. Being torn apart are thorns which to me represents the many outlying dangers of wrong paths that want to drag you along. I could've done a mirror of myself or a reflection in the water, but I figured forces around me as if it's in our very nature to separate ourselves so far away from the real world; from reality and into fantasy. The hands aren't exactly seen since the thorns are giving clues as to where the hands actually are, implying if you will. The piece is cut in two by two separate colors, green and blue. Blue means was serene truth, no worries, no stress, no problems. As opposed, green means frail fantasies that come alive, a never ending phantasia.
